Isn't this the 5th year of the Boundary 500?

If so, there must be some sort of way to celebrate such an event?

I have asked the Tyne Tunnel about going through again this year.
Here is the reply:-

Yes we will do our best to accommodate your passage for this event again. I must point out that we are still too far away to know where we will be in terms of the construction activities and cannot guarantee there will be no works that could affect your passage. The reason that I have raised this issue is that there is a weekend closure planned to allow demolition of the old bridge at the south side of the tunnel and whilst I expect this to take place prior to your event, I cannot guarantee it.

Please feel free to contact me again nearer that date, in the meantime I have put your event in my calendar.

Regards,
Ron

I will keep in contact with Ron at the Tyne Tunnel.
They were so generous and helpful last year in letting Boundarians go through the tunnel for free.
I'm sure they'll help us if they can.

Just to make sure everyone knows. The Challenge will be starting and finishing at Lord Stones just like the Classic. Grin Grin Grin

Then we could travel simply using methane and save on petrol, hence donating even more to the Air Ambulance - what a brilliant idea  Cheesy
