Sorry Brian but the following little screen play pops to mind

Brain Ulric Goldfinger Laverick.

Sits in Lord Stones cafe in front of a roaring fire holding a pussy (cat) which he absent mindly strokes whilst speaking with a  male strapped to a table as a sharpened chicken parmo spins towrads the  join in his trousers..

"But Mr Bond you have never  been up against The Boundary 500 as you die be sure we control the North East and soon Europe and the world"
Cue Bond Music and a shout  off stage from the kitchen of "Number 59 burger and chips"

Oh my God i have started writing Boundary 500 The Movie

I'm lovin the sound of this and even better will be in working Europe already!!! But 28 days only leaves 3 spare days to play with if you average 300miles a day. Would 30 days not be better to allow time in the mountain passes?
Will the start and finish points be fixed? I'll be in Germany, so don't fancy riding to Calais twice.

Hi Gary there is always flexibility and if 30 days will have you doing the ride no problem. Also with the start point if you are starting from say point A in Germany then you will need to go to Calais but finish at point A. Does that make sense? Of course for us living in the north east we have to add another 660 miles for Calais and back so that will take it well over the 8000 mile mark.Grin Grin Grin
