International Motorcycle Challenge
|
| |
This will entail visiting five countries and travelling about the same distance as the Marathon, 3000 miles. The entrance fee is £20 and the minimum sponsorship amount to be collected is £250.which is the same as the Marathon, the big difference being, that you have 21 days to complete the ride and can therefore turn it into a fantastic biking holiday. It makes sense that when in certain areas, stay a few days and ride all the passes. They are fantastic.
Due to the high mountain passes this event can only be run between certain dates because of the high altitude and the fact that the roads are only passable at certain times of the year. The International will take place from 20th May - 20th September each year.
There is a DVD showing the locations that have to be visited. http://www.deauvilleuk.org/b500/b500_international.wmv
