The Boundary 500 is open to all two wheeled motorcycles. A full list of rules/regulations are available to download.

The ‘Event Control’ will open at 6am on Saturday 20th June 2009 at Simon Bailes Garage located on Church Road at Stockton-on-Tees.

Riders and pillions have the option to complete the ride over two days.

Entrants will be issued with an event card and entrant number. Light refreshments will then be available, after which they are then free to make they’re way to the identified locations in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.

The locations to visit are; Berwick-upon-Tweed, Whitehaven, Barrow-in-Furness, Skipton, Scarborough.

At this stage it is hoped that you will be visiting Morrison’s Supermarkets where you will have you event card stamped at the customer services desk as in 2006, 2007 and 2008
Negotiations are still under way and final instructions with precise location points will be circulated nearer the event.

There is an entrance fee of £2 per rider and pillion both of who are asked to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship each.

The finishing point is located at Lord Stones Café, Chop Gate, Stokesley, North Yorkshire TS9 7JQ Telephone:  01642 778227 where there is free camping. Beer is a £1 a pint and there will be food available at very reasonable prices. It is also envisaged that there will also be rock bands. Further details will be circulated later.

The entry form, next of kin form and if camping the appropriate section must be returned by post to me. Address details are on the forms. All forms are available in the download forms section .

When your application has been received and accepted I will forward your details to The Great North Air Ambulance Service who will send you the appropriate sponsorship forms. These forms must not be photo-copied because for audit purposes they have a unique number. If you require more either contact me or the Air Ambulance Service and we will arrange for more to be sent out.

One tip for when completing the sponsorship forms is that people tend to copy the first amount given so make sure it’s a decent amount. Also try and get the money up front because it saves a lot of hassle later on.

There may have to be a limit on the numbers that can take part so do not hesitate get your forms in as soon as possible.

Thanks for your support and safe riding.

Brian.
