Meeting at Sizzlers 9.15am for a 10am start. (full tanks please) Sizzlers is located on the westbound carriage of the A66 near to the Sadberge turn-off. If you are travelling along the A66 from Darlington to get to Sizzlers you will have to go to the Long Newton interchange and join the westbound carriageway there. Over the bridge and on the B6277 towards Corthersone and onto the outskirts of Middleton-in-Teesdale where we will be turning left onto the B6276 and on towards Brough past selset reservoir. Into Brough and under the A66 turning right into Brough Castle car park and the ice cream parlour. From there down to Kirby Stephan and picking up the B6259 towards the junction with the A684. Follow the A684 towards Leyburn before picking up the A6108 to Brymor Ice Cream Parlour. From there back home via Bedale and Northallerton. About 140 miles tops.

There is a thread at;  http://www.boundary500.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,6637.0.html

Steady has informed us that the ride will now start from Sizzlers Cafe, which is located on the westbound carriageway of the A66 near to Sadberge. With those that have a good memory its the old Ivanhoe Garage. Mally says he wants to be on the road from 10.15am so if you are having breakfast get there early. Dont forget to fill up your bikes as well.

Steady’s Ride

I shall be having a leisurely ride around some easterly parts of the NY Moors, checking locations for a new fund raiser ride idea later in the year. There will definitely be plenty of u-turns (becuse I’ll be using paper maps – no sat nav), stops for hot drinks and grub and a Fish & Chip lunch at Whitby. No idea how long it’ll be, but I plan to be back around 4pm latest.
If you care to join me, I shall be at McDonalds at Teesside Park at 10am (for first hot drink and grub), planning on setting off around 10.15am.
This will only be cancelled if…
A) It’s snowing B) I have any man flu type ailments C) I change my mind
Hopefully see you there

There may be a change of meeting place so please keep an eye on the thread on the forum at; http://www.boundary500.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,6602.0.html
