Information

I have been informed that all the relatives are aware of the final arrangements and that the details for Nicks funeral  can now be released.

The Cleveland Police Motorcycle Section have kindly agreed to assist with the arrangements in respect of Nicks journey to Middlesbrough Crematorium.

The funeral procession will leave Nicks home address and travel via Low Lane to the Crematorium.

Due to the location of Nicks house it would not be possible for a number of vehicles to attend.

It has been decided that all Motorcyclists that wish to pay their last respects and follow the Cortège, are asked to meet from 12noon on Monday 24th September 2012 at the car park of the Manor House Hotel, Low Lane. (previously known as the Yorkshire Dragoon) for a 12.30pm start.

The Police will direct the funeral cortège from Low Lane to the rear of the Manor House Hotel and drive past the car park allowing people to join the procession. The cortège will then rejoin Low Lane and travel to Middlesbrough Crematorium for a 1pm service at St Bede’s Chapel.

I have started another thread at http://www.boundary500.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,7312.msg79067.html#msg79067 for numbers of people attending. This will help the organisers. Please add you names there.

If there are people reading this information and are not members of the Group please email me at,

brian.laverick@ntlworld.com and I will add your details.

The next of kin have asked that in lieu of flowers please give a donation to The Great North Air Ambulance Service. There will be a collecting tin at the service.

I understand that following the ceremony people will be meeting up at the Manor House.

I think everyone will be aware that the person involved in the Road Traffic Collison a couple of weeks ago was Nick Robinson.

The omission of Nicks name from our forum was at the wishes of next of kin.

Sadly Nick passed away on Thursday 30th August 2012. He fought tooth and nail over the last two weeks but sadly such were the serious nature of the injuries it was one fight he could not win.

Our thoughts are now with his friends and family. I will open a thread where people can pass on their condolences. http://www.boundary500.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,7275.0.html

Any details about the funeral arrangements we are made aware of will be posted here.

Rest in peace Nick.

The book of condolences was intended for members of the Group. However if there are any members of the public who would like to leave a message please email it to brian.laverick@ntlworld.com and we will ensure that it is added.

We have been receiving emails asking if the Group Rider Training is available in other parts of the North East. Now there’s a thought. Watch this space.
