At the presentation night on Saturday 27th October 2012 the latest members to have successfully completed the course were handed their certificates by the Assistant Chief Constable of Cleveland Police Sean White. The course originated in 2007 and since then over 80 people have attended and received their accredited course certificates. The Group are indebted to Fire Fighter Marty Curran for his continuing support in running the course. One of the Groups younger members Cloe who is only 12 years of age is to be congratulated on passing the course.

 

The Boundary CD and DVD will soon be available to buy. There will also be a digital download available. Dont forget our press launch with the ban playing at the Angel of the North 11.30am Saturday 3rd November 2012. Look forward to seeing you there.

 

 

 

Have spoken to Phil at Whitby Coaches and this year we will be using this bus. It affords more protection against the elements.

The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group are arranging a Ride in Honour that will start on Sunday 28th July 2014 and travel to the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium to mark the 100 year anniversary of World War One. Further details will be appearing here asap.

This is a new event staring in 2013. Further details will be appearing shortly.

The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group who are dedicated to raising funds to secure the financial future of Zoë’s Baby Hospice, were recently made patrons of the Hospice. In the last six years the Group have raised in excess of one hundred thousands pounds for the home.

The founder of the Boundary 500 retired Police Officer Brian Laverick said,

‘We are very honoured to have been made Patrons of the Hospice and to mark this occasion we have bought a P Pod for use by the home. The chair cost £300 and is worth every penny to make the babies comfortable.

The Motorcycle Groups next initiative to raising money for the Hospice takes place on Saturday 8th December 2012 when they hold their Annual Motorcycle Santa Ride which has become a very popular regional event. For those motorcyclists that wish to take part in this years Santa Ride the entry forms can be downloaded from the Boundary web site at www.boundary500.co.uk or ring the Secretary Karen on 01642 343479

The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group annual Motorcycle Santa Ride in aid of Zoe’s Baby Hospice will take place on Saturday 8th December 2012. There is a reserve date of 15th December should there be a problem with the weather.
