Keith, Paul and Brian attended All Saints Church at Skelton on Thursday 29th March 2012 to present the Cleveland Police Band with a certificate of appreciation for their help in raising money from the 2011 Boundary Motorcycle Group Santa Ride for Zoes Baby Hospice. What was meant to be a quiet affair proved to be anything but when Keith stood up in front of 400 people and sang not only the bands praises but yours as well.

Thursday 29th March 2012 was another sad repatriation day when three more servicemen have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The Boundary annual New Year’s Party will take place on Saturday 12th January 2013. It will be our way of letting the New Year in, a little later than normal but still a great night.

CAN YOU HELP?
There is lots of research going on to establish the existence/location of Residential Homes in the Stockton area. I have started a list off below.

On Saturday 7th April we will be having an open top car carrying the Zoe’s Bear, Helen the Tesco rep, Councillor Paul Kirton and the driver Paul Joyce.

The car will be towing the Boundary Trailer which with its markings readily identifies who and what we are about.

The list of places to visit at the present time stands at 28.

Logistically I don’t think that we can visit all these with the car and trailer within a suitable time frame. As a result of this I think it would help if we had Groups of Motorcycle take on responsibility for visiting a number of set locations.

I would like as many helpers on motorcycles as possible, some to accompany the car and trailer and some to deliver the eggs and a goodwill message. Please put your name down here if you can help. If you would like to take on responsibility for an area fantastic. We really need people to help us out and not leave it just to the ‘Old Hands’.

Here are the present locations that we know of.

The 2012 Vision 50 has been created to offer reliable, fun mobility at an attractively low price. As a machine intended for daily use by a huge range of customers, qualities such as durability, dependability, safety and ease of use were considered vitally important during development. With a reliable and efficient fuel-injected engine, a stable and easy to ride chassis, the advanced safety of Honda´s Combined Braking System (CBS) and extensive storage space, the Vision 50 represents a smart and reassuring option in the 50cc scooter market.
Central to the Vision 50´s strong performance and superb fuel economy is its single-cylinder four-stroke engine. The machine can offer figures of up to146.9mpg in normal use, giving a range of over 177 miles from the 5.5-litre fuel tank. Such a generous fuel range contributes to the machine´s convenience and ease of use, as do the large internal storage space, electric start function, stylish instrument display and ergonomically refined seating positions for both rider and passenger.

Easter is generally about giving children Easter Eggs but there is a section of our society who at times seem to be forgotten.

The Boundary 500 Motorcycle Group and Tesco’s Super Store Ingleby Barwick ,have teamed up to bring some joy into the lives of our Senior citizens who reside in Residential Homes.

We intend to collect as many Easer Eggs as possible and deliver them to Residential Homes Located in the Council Boundary of Stockton.

We intend to transport the eggs in the ‘Boundary Trailer’ preceded by Pauls open top car which will be carrying Karen from Tesco’s Store and Zoë’s Bear. We intend to visit as many residential homes as possible, fanning out from Ingleby Barwick. It would be great to have motorcycles with us. Please support us in this initiative.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE DONATE EASTER EGGS. THE MORE WE HAVE THE MORE HOMES WE CAN VISIT. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY AND LETS BRING A SMILE TO THE FACES OF OUR SENIOR CITIZENS.

The Tesco Store where you can leave your donation of chocolate eggs,

starting from, Saturday, 31st March 2012 is;

TESCO SUPERSTORE, MYTON ROAD, INGLEBY BARWICK, STOCKTON-ON-TEES,TS17 0WA.

The eggs will be collected at 12noon on Saturday 7th April 2012 for delivery to the nominated residential homes.

If you don’t shop at Tesco’s at Ingleby Barwick, no worries bring an egg at 12 noon on Saturday 7th April, 2012.

Not long ago we attended the service at Sedgefield when the numbers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice stood at 398. The discussion at the time was when that number would reach the 400 mark. Little did we know what was in store. 6 killed in one go.  I don’t thing there is anyone who expected that. It is tragic to lose one life let alone 6. I know because of this fact that a lot more people made the effort to attend the service and pay their respects. Over 100 people attended for what was a very moving service.

For the last few years, Coastal and Country Coaches based at Whitby have provided the ‘Open Top Double Decker Bus’ for the annual Zoe’s Baby Hospice Santa Ride. Brian popped through to Whitby on Friday 16th March, 2012 and presented Chris and Phil with a Certificate of Appreciation. The firm and the staff have been very supportive of our ride and on a couple of occasions battled through snow and ice across the North Yorkshire Moors to make sure they got to Thornaby for the Santa Ride. The open top bus is now a feature of the ride usually full of VIP’s following the procession. We are indebted to Chris and the team for their continued support.

Redcar & Cleveland Events Team have been really supportive in helping us achieve our objectives during our stay at Kirkleatham Hall. Thanks for the team work guys. Here Karen presents a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ top Ken, Rhiannon and Jess.
